Our selection of paintings, prints and miniatures is based on quality not period, ranging as it does from portrait miniatures from the eighteenth century right through to work commissioned by the War Artists Advisory Committee during the Second World War.

We have Pre-Raphaelite landscapes, maritime and sporting paintings as well as linocuts and pen and ink drawings from the early to mid-twentieth century. Artists include Henry Moore, Richard Ansdell, William Tasker, John Nash, Thomas Hennell and Sybil Andrews.
